An election of ONLY Commercial Cleaning delegates will be held at SEIU Local 26 on Saturday, July 8th, 2023.

The Election Committee met on Saturday, May 6th, 2023, to accept and certify nomination petitions for the Local 26 Executive Board election. In accordance with Local 26 Constitution and Bylaws, Section 11.5, C (Election Procedures) (4) “If only one candidate is nominated for a given office, that candidate shall be declared elected without further procedures.” Therefore:

Nominations are open for the union offices of President, Secretary-Treasurer, 1st Vice

President, 2nd Vice President (the “officers”), and Executive Board delegates by division

(6 janitorial, 4 security, 1 window cleaning, 1 in-house contracts, 1 retail, 2 airport).
