Window Cleaners End Lockout, Win New Contract
After weeks of concerted action drawing attention to the need for stronger safety regulation in the window cleaning industry, Twin Cities window cleaners won a new contract that will make the industry safer.
Earlier this week, State Legislator Jim Davnie and his colleagues from the capitol joined window cleaners and community allies to speak out for workplace safety. Davnie announced that he would introduce legislation that will lead to significant protections for window cleaners.
